Rules

Rules:

1.     All beer entries must be brewed by an active member of any homebrew club located within the state of Nebraska. Any entries that cannot be confirmed with a club will be disqualified.

2.     As in previous years, each homebrew club may enter a maximum of 2 beers into each of the above 6 categories. It is up to each club to determine how they will evaluate their members' beer candidates and to select which beers they will advance to the Shootout competition.

3.     Any person submitting a beer entry may not judge or steward that same style category. You may, however, help judge or steward in the other categories.

4.     Entrants must be age 21 or older.

5.     All mailed entries must be received at the mailing location by the shipping deadline - please allow for shipping time.

6.     All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers (i.e., no use of commercial facilities or Brew on Premises operations, supplies, etc.).

7.     The competition organizers are not responsible for mis-categorized entries, mailed entries that are not received by the entry deadline, or entries that arrived damaged.

8.     Qualified judging of all entries is the primary goal of our event. Judges will evaluate and score each entry. The average of the scores will rank each entry in its category. Each flight will have at least one BJCP judge.

9.  Two bottles or cans (12oz minimum) are required per entry. Bottles will not be returned to entrants.
